Here are pictures from the last day of school. Just like on my blog. Haha.
I love pizza.
I love Venezia too! Oh what a funny expression on my face. I picked it over the normal one because perhaps this is what I usually look like to most people! Oh well ice cream always makes me happy. Soulfood.

Yesterday afternoon our delicious class went out for some COCA STEAMBOAT. Oh it was heavenly. I do love buffets.
My cup runneth over.
Adam's so pro at the cooking we suspect he's worked at COCA before.
How ironic Koka didn't come. We remembered him each time we ate FISHCAKE haha.
HAHAHA if you are wondering what Karen is drinking, it's NOT Tomyum soup. It's just chicken soup drenched in CHILLI.
After sitting there for almost 3 hours and deciding we could not move anymore, and Alfred proclaiming to me to eat more because I wasn't 9 months pregnant, we left.
I do wish I had eaten more, in retrospect. HAHAHA But I know I couldn't.
WE SAW A FASHION SHOW!!
More fun than Project Runway. And from our position we could see all the unglam shots behind us, all the models stripping the moment they got backstage and doing their hair. Yanzhi says it's more interesting than the runway show itself.

We went to Zara! And tried on hats.
So funny!
I was hiccuping all the time I was at Zara. I just couldn't get rid of it, it was really embarrassing I would walk into people and go UUUURURPPP! Then I saw Adam in a suit and then suddenly I realised my hiccups had stopped. I was shocked beyond hiccups.
Whoa I'm a real geisha with gorgeous lips.

ahhh... this entry, is once again, late by a week! this shall be about MAF'06, which was held last week within HwAcHoNg.mostly pictures and few wordssss. plus 3 videos too! EXCITING.
first, we met at Orchard to makan at pastamania - Cineleisure =)
when it was 6:30pm, we chiong-ed back to hwachong. on the bus, adam and karen shared some music.
i took some paparazzi fotos and karen instantly morphed into a monster.
so finally, we reached hwachong, just in time for the Light-up!
and this is the backdrop. Chang-e....
we took many group photos =). one with mr chow...

Poor adam, he actually asked mrs ang for a dance. you should know what's her reply =)
the haze was bad, and the moon appeared red, but everyone was still HIGHHHH...

and i shall go on to report on my trip to KK Hospital's SPERM BANK. zhenhao gwyneth and i went, as part of out LAST bio S lesson yay.

though i heard that sperm donors are given porn magazines to accelerate the donation process. the nitty gritty details, i shall leave out =).
anyway, what caught my eye was the millions of cranes hanging from the ceiling. whoaaaaa...
GORGEOUSfollowing which, we had a short briefing about ARTs (artifical reproductive techniques), IVF and IUI(intrauterine insemination). i realised i havent thought about whatever happens between zygote formation and blastocyst formation. have u wondered... what happened to the zona pellucida? i haven't. oops.
and well, apparently there is a BLASTOCYST HATCHING process! the zona pellucida breaks open and the blastocyst is expelled =)
and this is how IVF is carried out. click and watch the video! notice that at the end, u see an ovum with 2 nuclei inside. THAT's the male and female pronuclei! amazing.
and the lab assistants(ladies!) demonstrated how semen analysis is carried out. btw, that's REAL semen. no offence, people.
and this is how the sperms are stored in liquid nitrogen tanks=) see those tubes? each one of them contains sperms from an individual
ok! end of field trip!

kk people, alfred has been asking me bout this so please bear with me.
As most of you by now know, i've gotten my president scout award. As for those that do not know what it is, here is a brief summary. In scouting, you are a Scout from sec 1 to 3, come sec 4 you become a Venture and in jc2 you can choose to either go for Leader training or become a Rover. Now, the Rover scheme has no real badges so the highest standard achievable is the President Scout Award under the Venture testwork scheme.
Now as to what the actual testwork involves...shall not go through all the minor details but generally you have to amass at least 30 hours of cip over 6 months, thats why i was doing the tuition service at Gracehaven last year. Another major hurdle is the hike component, a >90km 3-day-2-night hike. I did it just before the PW presentation i think some of you would remember the map i brought to school hahaha.
The final two are technically the most tedious parts, you have the project which is to plan and organise an activity for scout hq on a national level for at least 6 months or till completion(whichever is shorter) Some of these projects can be rather interesting like i know a girl (yes girls do get the award too but so far in history only 2 have gotten it) who was placed in charge of drawing up the protocol with respects to how scout units deal with girl scouts. Or it can be like mine which was a camp. Lol interestingly enough i was supposed to organise a camp for 500 people but in the end there were only 50. sigh talk about bad management in the upper ecleons of scout hq.
Finally you also have the ASPIRE, interesting name but basically its a camp during which they test you all your leadership skills, survival, first aid, pioneering, orienteering, fitness basically the works... Its tough I must admit, the statistics alone are staggering. In June this year only 1 out of 13 passed. December last year only 4 out 16. I personally do not really know how i passed i always believe and still do that God helped me a lot.
K well enough said you probably get the idea thats why among scouts this award is so prestigious. Prestigious enough to shake the president's hand hahaha... but yeah well here are the pics alfred asked for enjoy.

Today we had photo taking day!!! Lol sadly our class and the junior class do not really interact much but i was fun while it lasted...lol started with us sitting outside the new general office what a dumb place to take a photo so we decided to shift. The chinese high boys being caught up in an overwhelming surge of communistic fervour decided to go to their clock tower...There we took some really nice photoes but there were so many cameras! 7 i think! Got so bored in the end that kept doing funny poses with lynett. Pei Qi tried to kick me lor ahhh! Luckily she didn't succeed! I shall remember this!
