On Friday, we've caught the most exciting basketball match. For the girls team, yes, the margin of victory is ridiculously large. The guys team, however, slipped literally at the last minute and lost to TJC... It was quite saddening, considering how much effort they put into their training, how well they played that afternoon and how much they wanted the win. But as those who went have witnessed, lady luck was not on their side.They have lost, but have not failed, as they have demonstrated tremendous amount of skill, teamwork, and perservence throughout the whole game. In the middle, when both teams were neck-to-neck, it illustrated the strength of the team. They tried and gave it their all, and for that, they deserve our respect. Let us hope that they have better luck next year and clinch the double gold as they have deserved.
It was great to see so many Hwa Chong people out there cheering for the teams. That is the Hwa Chong spirit that I've known and witnessed before. Unfortunately, the cheering was a little disorganised compared to TJC, but we have the potential. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to go and support the team that day. It isn't right or wrong to not go on that day, it is just how you show you love the school.
Good luck to everyone else who's having competitions lately, I hope you people can help the school bag some more golds this year. Work hard and work smart and you will reap your rewards soon enough. Remember, when you step into the competition ground, no matter where you think you are, you are on Hwa Chong's turf, for you are the best. Believe in yourself and others will follow. =)

P.S: Those who went to the bball that day, did you guys see a blue ring file at our pile of bags? I beg you to tell me if you have any clues, for it contains all my bio stuff from term 1 till now. THE PAIN!!!!!!! =(

studying isn't everything, right? but why can't some people just learn to understand that... people who are closest to me should know what i feel, how i feel, what i love and what i enjoy... why must they insist on taking away what matters most to me? music is the one thing i do well in without having to put in as much effort as everything else... it is the only thing that has allowed me to survive my secondary school days, the separation with lulu they all... piano, guitar... learnt to love them so much... i don't want to give them up. i don't want to. it isn't as if i don't study. i do. i just don't do well... i am stupid... i can't help that...
have to do very very very very well for my block tests to keep what i love most... but logically, it isn't possible... maybe i should just prepare myself to give up my music. give it all up. after all... what's most important to a student, is her future, isn't it? a future that can only be made 'beautiful', 'wonderful' etc. with good schooling, good degree, good job...
maybe that's just life. you are born and you grow up, with the end in mind. you study hard, you do well, you go to a good university, you take the course that you will do well in; you do well. you go for interviews, get a good job and continue living your life... you get married, have children and the cycle goes on... dreaming gets you no where. life moves too quickly for you to dream. there isn't time for you to waste, especially when you could be doing better stuff... like studying for the block tests or promos... stuff that will somehow help you achieve a 'bright' future...
i am not like my sister. she is smart. she can get into a good school without studying at all for her PSLE... there isn't a need to compare and compare and compare though... i am just not as smart... i only got 6 a ones... everyone else got so much more... practically everyone in hc has 10 a ones. and even if i study hard... i still don't do well. haha. life is a great joke. lesser beings like myself can only dream of getting such grades. wait. i forgot. dreaming is wrong.
lucky are those who can pursue their dreams; lucky are those who have them. but those who want and cannot achieve... it just hurts.

yoyo pple..nj is not really 'more colourful'.. in fact it's turning more grey!! if u even bother to look at nj on ur way to sch.. den u'll realise tt its becuming worse!! but of coz.. e food is marvellous!! =)
anw.. my main aim of blogging is to tell u guys tt its sherlene's bday nxt sat! let's celebrate it tgt!! someone pls ask her out.. lyk say.. karen, wud u kindly ask her out.. since u're closer to her.. n oh.. we can also chip in to buy her a gift.. how 'bout tt?

ello.... LOUIS is back into this blog!!!!!! haha... very happy... long time never blog already.. miss this blog so much!! maybe i should tell you guys more about nJ! nJ is veli veli FUN!!!! but i miss HC too.... especially the facilities (ignore the food... NJ's much much better) :P
Nj is like batu caves.... so many steps and when it rains, everywhere leaks... including the LTs.. --_- right... haha.... everywhere's grey... but not anymore.. renovation work is taking place and i can smell tinner and organic solvent everywhere!! (that;s why when i come back to HC i'm always HIGH).. NJ is much beautiful now.. haha (bet Mrs. Cheng... Virginia Cheng.. not Chem teacher.. Mrs. Cheng, will be so happy upon hearing this).. NJ is so rv dominant... and in my class, i got 10A1 scorers from cat high(mao1 gao1), RV, NAn HUA adn other schools.... my class, 05S6A is like you guys!!! they are very friendly and happenning too... but still they cannot replace you or you guys cannot replace them... it's just different...
I've been coming bck to HC quite often... is that a good thing?????
maybe... so that i'll feel alive again every week :P i come back to HC bcos HC is so much windier than NJ!!!! NJ is so contained!!!! haha... and the grey U makes it worse! but i like NJ!

i think i'm obsessed with CHOIR!!!!! i LOVE CHOIR!!!!!!!!! i love rioHC and NJchoir!!!!! i'm so fortunate to know choir from both sides !!!! THANK GOD for this!!!!!! haha.... thinking of having a combined concert with HC and NJ... it will be so fun loh!!!!
was thinking of running for Student conductor for elections in NJ choir... but i dun think i capable leh... not much musical or choral background and no experience in conducting... sigh... dilemma!!!! maybe i should run for Tenor SL... i hope i cmi :)

Wow, who posted that photo? Pls give us your beautiful name, No need to be shy. =) Anyway, I was curious about the photos taken last time with O17A... erm, the one in the classroom if you remember. If anyone has it, can you send it to me? I think I missed it as my com was dead for 1 month.
Joanna had a good suggestion... I second that motion, just to keep track of things. Really, Adam, we Really DON'T doubt your professionalism... I've found Ms Lim's blog: agneslim.blogspot.com=)I don't think that will be a place to bug her about hw XD
Last but not the least: the next week's stuff... There's tons to go around: Monday: Chem SPA, Tues: Bio mutation scenario qns (I don't know if its counted but, would you risk it?), Fri: Physics SPA and Maths revision test... This will be one hectic week. Good luck to one and all=)
